Back in the Groove

Big love to Oni for his advice on getting out of a slump in your hobby time. By taking inspiration from my fellow FTW bloggers it seems I've managed to drag myself out of the doledroms of idleness and have completed a Farseer and warlock project that has been dragging on for far, far too long. Hopefully in the next week I'll be focusing on finishing those blasted 3rd ed Dire Avengers (red ones in the background) and getting them tabletop ASAP. In the meantime, here be my progress this week.

    They're looking very nice! The white is nice and clean, though there is quite a high contrast between light and shadow for my tastes.

    I love the helmet-faces, especially on the warlocks, very cool.

    Is the rock the Farseer is standing on yet-to-be-painted or is it a chunk of wraithbone?

    Thanks Itkovian, yeah, the rock is still to be painted but in the style of wraithbone. Yeah, the contrast is very stark, partly because I've been trying out a more "manga" feel for my Eldar, but perhaps won't be sticking with it.
